 Please come join us as we will have guest speakers from the CPA Review Panel present. Saturday meetings are open to all students of accountancy, so feel free to invite other accounting students to attend. Please dress business casual.

BAY Exclusive Intuit Office Tour

 Intuit is hosting an office tour exclusively for our chapter. This is a great opportunity to learn about careers outside of public accounting. Also, Inuit is recruiting for a tax position and would like to draw from our talented membership to fill the position. If you're interested, we will have carpooling for this event, which will leave from SDSU at 2pm. Beta Alpha Psi Social

Come join members from Beta Alpha Psi for a fun day of volleyball, free food, games, and the beach! The social will be this Saturday, March 12th at 1pm. The event will be located at South Mission Beach, for directions, use the link below. We will set up carpooling for those who would like to save gas or need a ride.  COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Community Service Event Cancellation Policy

You must provide at least a 24 hour notice if you cannot attend an event that you signed up for either on the sign-up sheet or via email. Failure to show up at an event without proper notification will result in an additional hour being added on to your community service requirements for active status.

TUTORING:


Interested in participating in Beta Alpha Psi's one-on-one tutoring program and starting your community service? Please email Nikki Anderson at BAPBetaEta.Planning@gmail.com to get on the email list. When a student contacts BAY for help, Nikki will email the tutors on the mailing list. Please respond to these emails stating whether or not you will be able to tutor. If you end up being paired with the student, print the tutor log (available on the BAY website), fill it out at the tutoring session, and turn it in to Nikki at the end of the month.

Also, come to the Thursday professional meetings to get your picture taken for the website. We will be creating an electronic directory that will include all our members and candidates, which will be sent to various accounting firms in San Diego. With that said, please update your profile as you would do your resume. 

The deadline to update your profile is Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 11:59pm.  Failure to update your profile by this date will result exclusion from the directory.
